Parent Involvement

Parents are offered appointments with their child’s teacher every term. Written reports are issued on each child every year. Any parents who are concerned about their child’s progress or welfare can make an appointment to discuss matters with the class teacher or Headteacher.

Teachers are willing to advise parents on how to help their children at home, thus ensuring that parents and teachers work together for the benefit of the children. An appointment to discuss ways to help can be made with the class teacher or Headteacher at a mutually convenient time.

We encourage parents to come into school to provide extra help in the classroom. We always encourage parents to use their skills to the full for the benefit of our school community. There is an active Holly Trees Fundraisers group, of which all parents are automatically members. The Holly Trees Fundraisers arrange social functions and fundraising activities for the benefit of the school.
